    I worked for many years as a graphic artist.  Much of this time I spent at a large company as the graphic department supervisor.  I also worked independently and was involved with projects for the Santa Cruz Historical Museum in California.

    When my wife, Melanie accepted a job in Marocco, I was offered a position as elementary and middle school art teacher and later art department head.  After Marocco we moved to Thailand where I taught art for thirteen years; grades 1-12.  I have thoroughly enjoyed my detour into teaching and am looking forward to being at Novy Porg.

    I enjoy traveling and water sports.  I spent many years surfing but now settle for kayaking whenever possible.
